Our 16th Annual Student
Teacher Day will be held at
our Burr Ridge location on Tuesday, February 21 from
8:30am-4:00pm.

Lunch is provided, and the event is free to any current student teacher or interested college student.
For many years this event
has offered young teachers-to-be the opportunity to learn valuable information to help during their first year of teaching.
For example, the Q&F repair department will teach "Emergency Instrument Repair." In this hands-on session, students will learn
what jobs they can try, and also importantly what jobs not to try.
Other sessions include:
“Preparing for Job Interviews”
A veteran school administrator will provide helpful hints about preparing your resume and interview strategies.
“Organizing Your Program”
Learn the answers that administrators want from an organized music program.
“Success through Professionalism”
Learn why some young teachers excel in their first year.
"The Business of Music Education"
Explore recruiting and retention techniques that really work! Participants will receive many handouts to take home with them.
