Why should my child have private lessons?

Giving your child musical training shows foresight as well as an appreciation for fine art. Music is one of the most basic mediums of expression and is a language understood by people of all nations. Improved coordination, broadening of interests, a discovery of the importance of self-discipline, and a world of pleasure are only a few of the rewards music students receive. Giving your child private lessons on his or her instrument takes that a step further by honing skills, quickly identifying and fixing problem areas, and maximizing the efficiency of your child's practice time. Both you and your child will notice a significant improvement in his or her musical skills after just a few lessons, and the longer your child gets the individual attention, the greater he or she will be able to perform.
Quinlan & Fabish Music Company offers private lessons on a number of different instruments. Each lesson is one-on-one with a highly qualified and talented teacher. Each instructor has studied music at the collegiate level, and many are professional musicians.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
Because Quinlan & Fabish is obligated to pay the teachers for their time, we cannot offer refunds for missed lessons. By signing up for a time, you are guaranteed a time slot, whether the student attends or not. Make-ups and excused absences may be allowed, at the instructor's discretion.
How much are lessons?
Lessons at Quinlan & Fabish Music Company are $20 per session, paid by the month. Books and other supplies are purchased separately. Lessons meet once a week for a half hour, with the same teacher at the same time each week. Lesson times will be determined by the availability of the teacher and the student.
