This reed is our original saxophone reed. It is a great reed for a beginner to mid-level player but is extremely popular with players at all levels. It is the recommended reed for school band players. This cut is neither bright nor dark sounding. Some players have reported that it is similar in sound and vibration to a Vandoren Blue Box or Rico Orange Box reed.
