Q&F at Lake Forest Symphony
In late September, Timothy Corpus for the Lake Forest Symphony invited Q&F to set up an “instrument garden” prior to their Sunday performance of “Peter and the Wolf”.
Arlington Heights store manager Jim Fuller and his wife Kathi set up a display of band and orchestra instruments. With welcome assistance from the musicians and staff of the Lake Forest Symphony, many people who had never held an instrument (let alone played!) had the opportunity to do so. It was particularly gratifying to see Seasoned Citizens experiment with the instruments (the Oboe received a lot of attention!)
The Lake Forest Symphony has begun their season under the guidance of Maestro Vladimir Kulenovic, with a full season of concerts featuring works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Mozart, Bernstein, Beethoven and many others into 2020. Visit LakeForestSymphony.org for more information
Have you ever wanted to dust off and play that old instrument in the attic or basement and didn't remember how? Or does your child need that little bit of extra motivation to stay in band, orchestra or choir? Our teachers are here to help you and your child become the best musician you can possibly be! If you have any questions, please call us: 847-253-5592 or visit our lessons page.
