Burr Ridge, IL: Quinlan and Fabish Music Company is delighted to announce that it will be joining forces with BandSource. Through this merger Quinlan and Fabish looks to continue to strengthen its ability to provide outstanding quality service to music educators, students and families, and professional musicians throughout the Chicagoland region. The transition will begin immediately.
Quinlan and Fabish Music Company operates eight locations throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. BandSource has operated a western suburban location in Downers Grove, IL for over a decade. “We are excited about the synergy when our strengths are combined. It’s a reunion of sorts, since Pete’s first job in the music industry was with our company” commented George Quinlan, Jr. of Quinlan and Fabish Music Company. BandSource owner Pete Biedron will join Quinlan and Fabish and continue to oversee the school districts previously serviced by BandSource.
About Quinlan and Fabish Music Company: In 1959, fellow music educators George Quinlan and Tom Fabish joined forces and launched Quinlan & Fabish Music Company. Now with eight stores throughout three Midwest states, Q & F remains focused on making it easier for students to participate in Band and Orchestra through outstanding service and community partnerships. As the leading family owned school music retailer in the United States, Q & F continues to earn national recognition for its unwavering support of school music. Previous recognition has included the prestigious Don Johnson Award (MMR), Retailer of the Year (Music Inc.), and regular appearances on the NAMM Top 100 Retailer List.
