Conn mouthpieces are manufactured from high grade brass, and machine-lathed to the exacting standards called for by each model design. Critical performance dimensions of the rim, cup, throat and backbore are computer numerically controlled using carbon-steel cutting tools that are methodically maintained for dimensional accuracy. Once machined, each mouthpiece is carefully polished and then silver plated for lasting beauty and protection.
